Pioneer VSX-108 Receiver
Pros
Good buy, nice sound, easy set up
Cons
needs extension cord if not close to outlet
Recommended it?
No
I bought the Pioneer VSX-108 as a first receiver to start a sound system.
I bought because it is Dolby Pro logic, well priced (I purchased for around $120), and the 200 watt max, which is good for a small room. In using the product, I was happy with the set up (everything is clearly marked and alined. All I needed to do was plug it in, hook up the speakers and voila, a 5 channel surround system. I love them whole system, easy setup, easy sound control. I have nothing against the reciever. If you a receiver for a small room, easy hook up for dvd, cd, vcr, etc its a great buy, well priced, mine came w/ universal remote. All together, great buy, definatley recommend.
