Pioneer VSX-36TX

The further we get into the future, the demand for "better" home theater goes through the roof. I found in purchasing this particular model the best investment ever in my eleven years of home theater. The sound is literally razor-sharp, extremely accurate and above all the DTS decoding is still jaw dropping. The separation is the best I have heard. The 7.1 decoding is the "next step" beyond in home theater. This unit delivers with a serious punch. The VSX36TX has everything you need for home theater use. You do need a separate amp to run 7.1, but I found that very useful because it is easy to convert back to 5.1 with the push of a button. The price is extremely great at under $1500, that is almost larceny. I can not recommend this unit enough. By far the good outweigh the bad.
