For about a year I surfed the web searching for the A/V receiver with the best cost-benefit rate. For $450 this THX, 7.1, 110 w per channel amplifier was the answer for me. Sadly my smart choice backfired when I plugged it in, turned on and after 5 minutes the receiver went off and never turned on again.
I have sent 3 e-mails to pioneer's customer service, they never replied.
