Great Deal Bundled with Speakers

This receiver is great. Everyday I discover a new really cool feature. With all the options and features, and all the inputs on the back, this receiver could be a little daunting to the entree level user. Good, but better can be bought for very little more.
I bought this as part of a $300 bundle with (Pioneer)surround speakers from Costco.
Setup was easy. I used the co-ax digital input to hook up my Pioneer DV-434 DVD player which I bought at the same time.

I don't know what the rest of the reviewers are thinking. This is a pretty damn-poor amp. I want to catagorize each part separately.

Better than my $1900 Yamaha
Five years ago I bought a Yamaha surround sound receiver amplifier for $1900. The Pioneer VSX D409 is so much better and it only cost $149.
