Planar PM-9

I originally was considering the Harman Kardon Sound Sticks for my Mac Powerbook but their size and price as well as lack of controls turned me off.I heard these beauties and was sold on the large sound from such a small footprint. got a decent price from Amazon complemented by a free shipping offer. Read the quick set up guide and took 5 minutes to set up: out came excellent sound! We have played a wide variety of music ranging from The Police to the Beethoven quartet opus 132 with fine results. The speakers have already proven to be nicely responsive to the equalizer adjustments available on the Mac. My only complaint is the absence of a treble control.
