Overall, a great burner, despite a few minor problems.
This burner has worked very well for me in backing up my software titles, writing data CDs, and making audio CDs. Of course it has some bad points when you push it to its limits like I did.

2 went bad in less than 2 years!

How much can you spend?
I bought the plextor plexwriter 40x only after buying a cen dyne model of the same speed. The plextor tends to run higher in cost than most other burners but the cash you pay upfront is worth it if you run a lower end system. One of the Very BEST
I bought this CD burner for my computer aprox. 3 months ago. I burn lots of music, Movies (DIVX, XVID, VCD, SVCD) and PS2 backup games.
