Cons DVD player is junk, Annoying clicking sound
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  I would not waste my money on this TV.
My Husband and I were so excited when we were given the Polaroid TV/DVD combo  for Christmas. This was our first flat screen TV. We ran home and tried it out. The first time we used it we were so happy with the quality of the TV. We decided that we would put it in our bedroom. We do not have a cable in  our bedroom so we rarely used the TV. Every now and then, we would put in a video for the kids to watch.

DESCRIPTION

The Polaroid HDTV/LCD TV/DVD combo has a 19in screen. The TV is equipped with a remote but just in case the buttons to control the TV are located on the side. The DVD player is located on the side of the TV above the buttons. The buttons for the DVD are located right next to the DVD player.  Above the DVD player is a slot to put in your memory card from your camera making it easy to view pictures. All of the connections for cable and satellite are located in the back of the TV.

The Polaroid TV sits on a base small base. I think the base could break easy if you are not careful.

MY EXPERIENCE

We had our TV about 3 month only using it a maximum of 10 times when the DVD player quit working. I was very disappointed.

I called the number for customer service and they were the most unhelpful service I have ever encountered. I was stuck on hold for over an hour. When my call was finally taken, I was shuffle between departments so many times put on hold repeatedly.  I was told after two hours that I could not be helped because the Polaroid TV was a gift and I did not have a receipt. I was very upset with the quality of the Polaroid product and service.

I understand that there can always be one lemon in a bunch so I tried not to be to upset. I told my sister-in-law about our TV she has the same one. She told me that her Polaroid TV was having the same problem. The DVD player stopped working after a few uses.

Our big TV broke recently so we are using the Polaroid TV/DVD combo in the front room. Every couple of days there is a horrible clicking sound that comes from the DVD player. We have not figured out how to stop it. It is very annoying. My sister said that hers makes this clicking noise as well.

PLUS SIDE

I do not know much about TV resolution but I felt the picture was pretty good. I feel like the sound is okay.

DOWN SIDE

The down sides to the Polaroid TV is the DVD player quit working after a few uses.  The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. The DVD player now makes a horrible noise every now and then.

It took me a little while to figure out how to run it. I have not even used all the options because I did not know how to use them.
