Instant pictures, with a price

This camera has been around for years! Even long before I was around it was the camera by choice for my grandparents, parents and others. With today's new models though it has gotten a bit outdated with not much change in appearance and/or quality. Yes, I do own one of these camera's but it seldom gets used. More like never gets used!! I just don't want to get rid of it in case someday I need to take a picture to have instantly with out waiting a few days for film developing.
The pictures are pretty expensive. They come in a cartridge, and you buy them by the tens. Usually costing around a dollar a picture for the entire shot. I think this is a bit steep for today's prices considering a whole role of 35mm film only cost's around $5.00 for developing, and usually only a few dollars for the roll.
The quality isn't very good either. The picture's are smaller than most, and the colors are not sharp or clear like other brands. They are also thicker and are hard to put in a photo album. I have a big family and love to take pictures, but I never reach for this camera to take those family shots.
The camera is big in size and hard to fit into a camera bag. I have my RCA cam-corder and 35mm both in a carry along case. I can store extra film and batteries etc. in there, but this camera will not fit no matter how hard I try! Its shaped like a big square box, with a long carry cord on it. To use it, you have to flip open the top and that exposes the lens and flash.
About the only thing that this camera is good for is the fact that you can have the picture immediatly. For maybe family reunions, or a birth of a new baby or maybe craft projects it would be ideal. Anything else though is a waste!
