Decent portable player
Pros
- swivel screen with image flip - less expensive than other brands
Cons
- Flimsy disc door - Needs rubber feet. - Many remote only controls.
Recommended it?
Yes
- This a decent portable player. It does all the stuff the rest of the portable players do: plays dvds, audio cds, mp3 cds, photo discs. I had no problem playing dvds or audio cds although I have yet to try mp3 or photo disc.
- Another reveiwer mentioned an issue with full-size discs or full size mode. My player did not exhibit those problems.
- The most intriguing thing about this model is that the screen swivels around and folds back on top of the unit. This allows for a compact footprint "video pad" with the control safely tucked away under the screen.
- The battery attaches to the bottom of the unit becoming an integrated piece. Unfortunately, the instructions require you to remove the battery when using the AC or car/DC adapters to play a movie (ie you shouldn't charge and play a movie at the same time).
- The cost for this items from Best Buy was $100 less than the nifty rubberized Toshiba 7" player.
