Polaroid PDV-0801A 8 in. Portable DVD Player

I received this as a gift from someone and I've had it now nearly 4 years and it works great. You do have to hook up some speakers to it in order to hear it like a normal television. It's a practical way to travel with a DVD player and not have to worry about dragging a small tv with you when you travel and is portable.

It comes with a convenient carrying case to protect the unit in transport, but the only disadvantage is that you need to pack the cord and remote in a separate bag.So if you have a screen and player in the car going and other people want to watch something else all you have to do is get an adapter for the cigarette lighter and plug it in and you got an extra monitor to watch movies on.

It's also a good entertainment system to take on camping trips so it's not too much of a hassle to transport in a car or any motorized vehicle. It's a practical way to watch movies without too much trouble. It comes with a remote so you can skip parts of the DVD so you're not having to reach over to the unit to manually press buttons all you have to do is hit a button on the remote and change scenes, but it's a nice thing to have so you have all the comforts of your home television that's the size of a small cigar box.

For the price of it the amount is worth it if you're paying for quality and not size. It's also easy to load and unload DVDs because of the simple one touch eject button to open the player.Polaroid is more known for its cameras than DVD players since that's a more recent thing they added to their arsenal of products. If you're looking for a reasonably priced DVD player this is a good one to go with if you trust the Polaroid brand.
