We bought this portable DVD player for our daughter and we have only had it for a few months until it started reading "bad disc". We contacted Polaroid and the 90 day Warranty was no longer guaranteed but they offered to replace it for $85.00 dollars. I paid $240.00 for this piece of junk. I forgot to mention this is the second Polaroid 1058 we bought. The first one we only had for 2 hours and the sound wouldn't work and we took it back and got this one that now reads "bad disc". We should have known after the first one. Why pay $325.00 for a Portable DVD player when you can by a laptop for about the same price. Buyer BEWARE. Polaroid DVD portable players are a ripe off. A valuable lesson learn is PLEASE READ ALL OF POLAROID REVIEWS. Don't be impressed by the good ones.
