Polaroid PDM-0723 7 in. Portable DVD Player

I thought I had a good product. It had a good picture on it sound was good but, then 6 months after I received it from my Husband it started saying bad disc when I would put in a DVD. I have only watched maybe 5-6 movies on it since I have had it. The manufactured date on the player has not even been a year yet. I have talked to Polaroid and all they offer is a 3 month warranty on these items. I thought they would stand behind their products better than this. But, for $95.00 they will send me another new one. Gee this $120.00 DVD player is now going to cost me $200.00. I told a friend about this, she said she had the model under this one and she had to take 2 of them back to Wal-mart with the same exact problem. She switched brands. SO, please be very be careful and use it a lot in the first 3 months to make sure you don't get stuck with a lemon like me.
