Pros
great for my grandchildren entertainment, especially in the car.
Cons
We seems to be the only three whom purchase this product.
I purchased player, about 18 months ago from Circuit City. At the time, it had a $20 rebate. The original cost was $119. ($99) It was a Mother's day gift.
Up until it died my experience with it was good. It may have only lasted ~18 months b/c it was not a daily used item The switch was a "slider", so when it broke off it was off. other means for opening the player had to be used. Try using the pointed end of a juice box straw.
Like "soundwavexm" says ' The DVD no longer wanted to turn. Was it or is it a burnt out motor? I don't know b/c polaroid dot com no longer exists. At least "sdem" was able to get in touch with the manufacturer.
