Polaroid PDM-0742 7 in. Portable DVD Player

I had a couple cheaper model DVD players which didn't last more than a year each. I thought I'd upgrade to this DVD player, which turned out an expensive mistake. It started off not playing certain DVDs, and over a short period of time, wouldn't play any DVDs. Total use from this unit was less than a month. The company should be ashamed of itself pawning off junk to the public. I wouldn't own a Polaroid anything because of this and a Polaroid digital camera I once owned and had to throw out after only a few uses. Seeing the Polaroid brand is like the skull and crossbones danger signal to stay away.
