The Bottom Line:
Great camera for the price, highly recommended to budget conscious beginners who want an easy to use camera that will grow with them as they learn more about photography.
I got a Polaroid i737 at target last year, and so far I love it overall. At 85-100$, you don't expect much of a camera, but this one has enough features and settings to keep me happy, while providing great images. You can see some of the photos I have taken with it http://www.flickr.com/photos/res2216firestar/. An example of one of the cool modes it has is photo stitch, allowing you to take 3 3 megapixel photos and stitch them together, giving you a panoramic shot. The advanced options include shutter priority, aperture priority, and manual, allowing you to choose both settings. In all three, it tells you what the camera would have chosen in auto mode once the shutter button is half pressed. It lacks an up to the eye optical or electronic viewfinder, but the LCD is bright enough for most situations.
A couple things I highly recommend to anyone planning to buy it: An SD card, the internal memory will only hold 3 or 4 photos, while the camera says (although I have never tested this) that my 2 GB SD card will hold about 700. Also I would recommend a pair of rechargable NiMh AA batteries, as the i737, like most cameras, eats a pair of alkalines in half a day, while it usually takes me a week to kill the rechargeables.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Polaroid i737 to anyone who wants to get the most out of a tight budget for a digital camera.
