The Bottom Line:
If you were looking for a nice and easy to use 8mp camera I would recommend giving this one a try.
I bought the pink one after I lost our other digital camera. It was an upgrade from our 5mp camera. It has a lot of great features and very easy to use. We paid $90 for it at wally world around black friday.
It has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It has plenty of modes to use including, video and voice recording. Some of the settings for the still pictures are, night mode; snow; text; food (although i have yet to take a picture of food); portrait; and kids.
If you do not have sturdy hands taking a picture without the flash may not work to well as it take a bit of time to take the picture. It uses standard sd cards. Up to 4 gb of memory on one card will work. The internal memory is only 16mb about enough for maybe 5 pictures on the 8mp setting. So I strongly recommend getting at least a 2 gig memory card.
All in all it is a great camera. Takes great pictures and is easy to use and setup. The screen is 2.5 in so its not the biggest screen but, with it you don't even have to look though the view finder unless your taking a picture at night.
