Polaroid i830 Digital Camera

I purchased this camera for my 11 year old daughter last Christmas and it has proven to be a great camera. Although reading instructions before use is always recommended, she was able to pop in 2 AA batteries and begin clicking away immediately. She, as well as my 5 year old son (who can also use the camera with ease) also enjoy the video feature on the camera and make many memories for me. All pictures and videos are easily transferred to the computer via SD card storage. The pictures are almost always crisp and clear.

 The shutter does have a bit of a lag and pictures may lose crispness in low light with unsteady hands. You will probably want to buy an SD storage card immediately as the internal memory only holds a few pictures. Otherwise, this camera is exactly what we hoped for.

It has been dropped and stepped on but continues to function flawlessly and the more pictures they take the more I find myself 'stealing' them for my folders on the computer as well. Also note that I have borrowed the camera when the battery died in my (fairly more expensive) camera during an outing and when the pictures were uploaded side by side on the computer there was no quality difference to be seen. [Assuming you don’t want poster prints :)]

I would recommend this camera for anyone, any age that desires a compact camera ready to point and shoot.
