Good if you don't care about taking nice pictures indoors
Pros
Good outdoor pics
Cons
Terrible indoor pics, Mp3 is a joke. video quality is not good.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
I recommend it if you get it dirt cheap and will not have high expectations for quality prints.
I got this camera two years ago for christmas. I thought it was great at first, as it was my first digi cam. Indoor pictures are not the best. It either washes everything out or it's too dark. Outdoor pics are pretty good. I've been impressed with some of the outdoor pics I've taken. Now how do I tell my husband that I don't want my christmas present anymore without hurting his feelings???
This unit also has an mp3 player. when you load songs onto the unit, it makes switching between camera and mp3 very very slow. I have two songs loaded on right now and quite honestly, I never used it as mp3 player. I use my ipod for music and would rather have a camera that took better pics than had more gadgets attached to it.
It does have the pictbridge which is a nice feature for printing.
the unit will record videos, but the quality is not the best and it does not have sound.
You can take some pretty big pictures with the camera, but you will need an SD card if you want to take very many.
OVerall, this was a good starter camera for me, but I'm ready to move on to a camera that I can take some better pictures with, now that I'm familiar with how these cameras work.
