Polk Audio I-Sonic Theater System

We purchased one of the prior model without ipod dock to replace our stereo in the front room.  The space is limited and this compact seemed great for the space.  Useful features like HD, DVD player, and dual alarm encouraged us to purchase another for our bedroom.  Sound was great.  Easily filled the rooms.  Remotes are uniform front to back and difficult to handle in the dark, which makes my husband get up out of bed to snooze.  The initial one was sent back within 9 months because it would no longer eject a CD.  The second has now fallen to the same problem.  I have watched Over the Hedge more times than I care to admit.  And the refurbished one they sent as a replacement for the first one refuses to read any DVD or CD.  The support says their hands are tied because our warranty on the refurbished one expired.  I can purchase another refurbished one for $65 plus shipping.  Doesn't feel like we have had enough useful life out of the money we have already spent on their product to justify additional expense for the same inevitable problem.
