Poor printer don't buy!
Pros
Nice print quality
Cons
Crashes windows, fails to print, high ink costs, poor tech support if any.
Recommended it?
No
When it works (20% of the time) it looks great. The rest of the time it crashes XP, fails to print, locks up mechanically, flashes lights in ways the tech people can't explain. The design is so poor that tech support recommends covering the unit with a towel to keep out light so the unit will function in a lit room!
They also suggest loosening the screws on the disk tray and wiping the transport belt as "fixes. The problem is heat, poor design and amazingly bad software.
Tech is unable to help. We've tried it on three different systems from a 1ghz P3 to a 2.4 ghz P4 and get the same results regardless.
Avoid this unit, it's junk.
