These horizontal elements not only look better than rabbit ears they also work better because they require less adjustment - they re always in matched position. Directional tuning for individual stations is simple: a slight rotation of the elements is all it takes. and you can adjust the gain on the built-in amplifier with a twist of the knob. (The amplifier can also be bypassed to prevent overmodulation of strong signals.). The TV5 solves the problem of receiving local TV channels with DBS systems. (Many satellite TV subscribers still aren t able to get their local channels via satellite so an antenna is required.). The TV5 also includes an RF-style coaxial input for a second source and a selector that makes it easy to switch between the TV5 and another video source (like a cable or sateolite TV box or a video game system) without having to change any connections.
