When it's good, it's very, very good, but when it's bad, it's HORRID!

Crap!
My system "fluttered" and "spat" for one year, then finally lost it's life- eating up one of my CD's (won't open) on it's last day. So far so Good!
Had it for 2 weeks so far, I could not believe you could get a 1000w system with 5 disc changer for under $200! Sound quality is great...played hard rock on it loud enough to hear down the block and suond was still good! Been great with Surround as well, only compliant is the back speaker cords are... Don't get it
I bought this system from Best Buy... if worked fine for about 20 days, then the sound became static. The dvds wouldn't play. The speakers were fine, it was the receiver. This is a great all around system for a typical home theater. Plays all formats including divx. Sound is very clean. Has an SD slot for pictures but I havent tried it. Insignia HTIB - stay away
Purchased an Insignia HTIB from best buy in 2006. First unit locked up (with one of my DVD's inside) within 3 months. Received another unit from Best Buy. HORRIBLE PRODUCT
