I just bought this monitor today, and it looks sharp. Nice colors(black case and silver around the screen) and shape. It seems clear and sharp, and once I adjusted the refresh rate to 85hz. it doesn't flicker noticeably. It seems to have many adjustment options. It has no dead pixels that I can see. I had never heard of the brand, but it was a good price after rebates. 17" is much nicer that my old 15". I now can set my screen to 1024x768 at 85hz, which is it's optimal setting. This lets me fit more information on the screen. Seems like a good deal.
Update: After a day I noticed jittering in the bottom of the screen where the start button is. I figured it was just the monitor, but after searching the internet I found that my surge protector was too close to my monitor, causing jitteriness close to the surge protector. Now my monitor is basically perfect after relocating my surge protector.
