Pure Digital F260 Flash Media Camcorder

THE GOOD STUFF: This little camera is so cute. Whenever I use it people always mistake it for a digital camera and are shocked to learn it's a camcorder. The Flip is light weight and small enough to fit in a little purse or pocket. It's very easy to use and only has a few buttons. The beauty of the Flip is that it directly plugs into your usb port on your computer. That makes for easy video downloading. (Half the time I download with other devices it takes me a while to find the darn cords!) You download the software for it, and the software is very easy to use too. The software includes editing tools and a few effects to make your home movies fancier if you desire.

THE BAD STUFF: This camera doesn't have much of a zoom. It's really good for up close stuff, but don't be taking it to your kids dance recital because you won't be able to get the close ups you want unless you are in the front row. It also has no light on it, so it is really only good for daylight recording or well lit areas. If the lights are dim it turns out pretty much black. It also only will hold one hour of video. The software has limited capabilities. I like to use all sorts of effects in my videos and it does a couple of effects, but I usually will edit my videos using another software program. If you are viewing the video you took on the camcorder there is no way to fast forward or rewind. You can fast forward and rewind after you download using the software.
