Everything you need in a TINY package!
I'm not new to the GPS world...and I like new gadgets every so often. So, it was time to retire the Garmin cf1620 PDA/ GPS card for a "dedicated" GPS system.
I travel frequently for pleasure via motorcycle and car, so I wanted something small enough to tote between vehicles, yet large...

Love affair has ended...
I wanted something for my motorcycle and when I read about the 20 hour battery life and waterproof features I had to have one. I recently moved to California so I'm not all that familiar with the roads here.
It worked so well it replaced my Pocket PC GPS in my car. I loved the quick...

It wont work after a few years
I bought in 2006 and now it cannot find any of the satellites. Others online are having the same problem with the Quest 2 but calls to garmin are quick to say its the unit itself. Garmin Quest GPS - DEAD ON ARRIVAL
I purchased my Quest NEW from GPSNOW online. It arrived FEDEX with no visual box damage. After loading all necessary software and practice routing in the house I mounted the unit in the car and turned it on for a test trip. The Quest comes with the OEM Satellites mapped for Taiwan. It is necessary... Read full review »
Garmin's S L O W Quest2
I like almost everything about the Quest2 - the size, ease of use, weatherproofness (?), and the many accessories. However, this baby is the slowest GPS I have seen in years and Garmin knows it.
I get screen freezes, scrolling off the map and painful waits when search POIs.
If...
