Not real GE, now we having to pay shipping costs too!

The Bottom Line:
Skip this product. Now that I have done some online searches, there are several other brands that offer undercounter mountings.
Bought the GE spacesaver radio/CD player for the kitchen. Installed it, and 4 days later the radio stopped working. Its under warranty, but I have to PAY to ship it, and then they might only send me a reconditioned unit. And, after checking with the GE appliance web site, GE doesn't even made the product anymore, the 'spacemaker' line was sold to Thomson multimedia, and they don't even have a working web site. I wished I had not bought this.
While the radio was working, I was not impressed with the sound quality. For an $89 dollar radio they could have done better. The CD player still works and sounds ok.
