Budget now for the extended warranty
If you're reading this you may realize eventually this is as much a venting session as much as it is a review. Get an Extended Warranty!
I have a similar problem now as the previous writer...Had someone come by and look at it lase week...the cost is $1217 to repair (including labor)!!! Thats almost the amount that I paid for it!!

Great...While it Lasted!!! Now a Large Piece for the Dump!
The resounding issue with these pieces are, at the 2.5 year mark you can expect this set to fail. Green power light comes on for approx. 5 seconds then unit shuts down. This review sounds like a broken record...or TV. Bought it at wal-mart 3 years ago. Did not buy the extended warranty. Should have! Had a deflection board put in for $475.00.
