I ordered and installed this for my sister this past Christmas. After playing with it for two seperate evenings
I gotta admit I'm pretty impressed.Installation was uncomplicated and I've found the horizontal menu system to be smooth and logical, even for my sister! Recording quality is just fine for analog playback. And I like it's versatility on format playback.
Previous posts about not being usable with a satellite box
may be overridden by using the one-touch/IR blaster recording system built into most satellite receivers
I paid $300.00 at Buy.com with a $50.00 rebate (yet to be
recieved) brought the unit down to $250. plus ship.
