Great T.v.
Pros
Quality picture, guide plus feature, and other nice features like commercial skip, Picture in Picture, and sleep.
Cons
Minor audio and picture problem that we had.
Recommended it?
Yes
O.k. I have to be honest, I did not want a t.v. this big! My husband practically begged and pleaded until I gave in. Well, it got to the house and it was HUGE!! At first I was a little uncomfortable watching it because we had only had a 28 in. before (I think!). Any how- the t.v. came and we played around with the controls and guide plus and it just started to grow on me! I don't have to strain my eyes to see the picture, that's obvious! The guide plus is a great, easy to use feature- no more buying T.v. Guides! That saves you what-about $8-10 a month!
We bought the screen saver for it because we have a toddler, and thank goodness we did! It is tough! My toddler has run to it and slammed his hands right on it! Didn't do a thing (except for drive my husband insane!) The only thing we didn't like about the screen saver was that we had to put it on the front of the television with VELCRO! It looks pretty good but my husband wanted it to be one that you could slide in the front. I think with it the way it is though, it keeps the screen safer from my toddler cause it doesn't hit the screen when he hits it.
We've only had one problem with the t.v. so far. One day the sound went out and I turned the t.v. off and then back on to see if that would fix it. It did, but then we didn't have a picture- it was all gray. Did the same thing again, but still no picture. We called for a repair man to come out but before he made the appointment my husband tried unplugging the t.v. and then plugging it back in. It worked! The picture was back and the sound was working fine. The repair man said it probably just needed to be reset that way. However, the sound has gone out on it again since then for a minute and I had to turn it off and then on again to get it to work so, I don't know! I guess I'll have to call that repair man back out here to look at it again. Otherwise, it's a great t.v.!
