Pros TV WAS NICE AND CLEAR WHEN IT WORKED.
Cons CAN NOT GET TV REPAIRED. HAS NOT WORKED IN OVER 6 WEEKS.

WE PURCHASED A NEW RCA 61" HDTV MDL#P6131OYX1 ON 2-28-02, ON 5-10-02 THE TV WENT OUT COMPLETELY. JUST LIKE SOME ONE CUT THE CORD. Pros Impressive Sharp Picture with Amazing Color 16:9 Format Screen Built in Satellite...
Cons Built in speakers not very good Remote control looks cheap

Picture Quality is what it's all about and this TV holds it's head high. I was very impressed with how vivid the colors are and how sharp the resolution is. Pros Excellent picture, optical audio out, built in tuners for everything.
Cons PIP only in non-digital modes, HDTV tuner doesn't output video. Slow tuner...
Recommended it? Yes

Sharpness will amaze in HDTV mode, but the same sharpness (as is the case with any HDTV I'd presume) that is wonderful at 1440x1080 (RCA stated resolution in the 1080i 1920x1080 mode) is such a great indicator of how horrid the signal quality of your old sources really is. Pros price
Cons Warranty is terrible ind attorney generals office swamp with complaints

TV pictures went out after 30 days trying to get some one at thomson to fix is impossible this is a buyer beware product
There warranty stinks they say they will call back they dont go with phillips better price better picture and not a french company

Pros Picture is great. Sound is outstanding.
Cons Trying to find someone to service tv is impossible.

We bought this tv after looking at others and thought that it was the best at the time. Looking back 4 months I wish we had never bought it. Pros Price Simple all inclusive set
Cons Low Horizontal resolution for an HDTV

I purchased this set because it is very affordable. I would probably repeat this even after experiencing the set and its limitations. Take a short quiz before you buy this or any other HDTV set

Pros Good picture for 6 months

We had our RCA TV only 6 months. Repair person took apart the TV in the basement, 3 months later, 61 phone calls to RCA and service center, 2 potential small claim court claims, 2 days off work, the TV is still apart in the basement. 5 calls to Thomson Electronics (they make RCA) in Europe, they... Pros nice picture
Cons needs repaired all the time, new bulb or light engine

we only had our TV for 3 months and the picture went out! We have not had TV for almost a month now and still can not get this matter resolved.
