Not worth the extra money to play MP3s from my opinion.
Pros
Good sound. Compact size for the sound, relatively good exterior design.
Cons
Screen black unable to see specific tracks, mode, radio or CD. Squeaky noises playing MP3s.

Bought it to use at my desk at work. Use to set a relaxed mood for my clients with personally chosen music. Also to hear the latest in hurricane warnings/updates from the radio (Florida).
