I purchased this item because I thought I would be able to play my MP3 player through the stereo. When I got it home, I tried several times to get it to work. I called customer service several times to find out why it did not work. They told me to try several different things. None of which worked. Finally, they tell me that the stereo is not compatible with my MP3 player. It does not list anywhere what MP3 players are compatible and which ones are not. I just wasted $100.00 for a machine that does not do what it is advertised to do. This product comes with a mp3 player that holds just as much as one compact disk, therefore, the use of the mp3 player that comes with it is worthless. I will never purchase from RCA again.
