Awesome discman for the price

Pros Inexpensive, reads CDRs & CDRWs perfectly, sturdy, decent headphones
Cons Antishock is short, non-joggable.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Definately one of the best buys you can make. You get a lot more for your money with this player.
This discman has so much going for it:

Low Price
I couldn't find anything cheaper that wasn't crappy junk. Even more expensive players didn't have all this one has.

Plays CDRs and CDRWs
It's very rare, even after all these years, for CD players to work with CDRWs. This is a feature I couldn't live without- I can make a new mix on the same disc in 10 minutes and not worry if I like it or not.

Long Battery life
Great battery life- I play for at least 15 hours on energizer NiMH rechargeables.

Decent Headphones
None of those cheezy annoying earbud headphones for this boy! This comes with a pair that slip over your ears and around the back of your head so they'll never slip off. also, there's only 1 cord (not 2) so tangle is reduced.
The sound itself is decent.

Nice Size/weight
Just a little bigger than a CD, and about 3/4" thick. Not at all hard to carry around.

Durable
The case is made of tough plastic, it barely even scratches and hasn't broken even when dropped from 5 feet. Electronic inside also are fine.

required features
It has the most important feature you need, a "hold" switch that will stop you from disrupting your music when something accidentally pushes one of the buttons.
It also has "random" and "bass boost" buttons which don't interest me too much.

This unit not is perfect, however:

Antishock is weak
This unit is advertised as having 45 second antishock, but I can make it stop playing after 10-15 seconds.

Also, this unit is not joggable.... unless you hold it in your hand while you jog, the movement will be too much for it to keep playing.
