This is nice
Pros
Good value, nice size.
Cons
Some functions are somewhat difficult to use.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Get it for that old man who likes music.
This was a present from my daughter who has been trying to move her father into the 21st century. Actually I had sort of asked for one.
My primary uses or for listening while walking and music while waiting in airports and sitting in airplanes.
The player comes with a carrying strap, one set of clip earphones, a lighter adapter and an adapter to play through your car radio if you have a cassette player.
So far I have had a few problems. The instructions are clear for basic playing. When trying to use a "play list function" it took a while to figure this out. Not sure I really have it down right.
Another feature is the ability to shuffle the songs so one does not have to hear the same artist three, four or five times in a row.
Sound quality with the earphones is not bad. Again, it is not concert hall, but then again it does not sound like a tin machine either. Rate it at 4 out of 5.
Not sure of choice of colors, but mine is maroon.
There is the window to show you the title, artist, album, genre and year.
Overall, this is a good little player. It does not skip too much when I walk, but some when I try to run. Oh yes, it was dropped by men on the airplane, but it still works fine. The fall was from my lap to the floor when I feel sleep.
