Clock doesn't keep time, have to unplug to have stereo work

I bought this stereo approximately 9 months ago. Shortly after buying it the clock would stop keeping time. Then to even get the stereo to work I would have to unplug it and plug it back in again. It is still under warranty but to get it fixed I have to mail it to Thomsen. I believe it is more trouble than what it is worth.
