Very good buy
Pros
The features are excellent!
Cons
Already having trouble with the rewind.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Definitely a product I would buy again!
I really like this VCR...it's definitely the best one I've had yet.
I bought this VCR last Christmas, so I don't like that the rewind is a problem now. It rewinds, but for some reason, as it gets close to finishing the rewind to the beginning of the tape, it slows down to a stutter...what is that about?!
I really like the Commercial/Movie Advance features. The commercial advance doesn't always work as it should, though. Nothing, with this type of technology, though, I'm sure, is perfect. There were too many times when it would advance beyond the return of the program. This meant I would have to rewind.
I don't use the commercial advance feature anymore because of this. I figured the motor will just die sooner than later if I kept using it.
Setting it up with the TV was very easy. And, when we moved and acquired digital cable service, rather than the standard cable, it was still very easy to set up. It almost completely set itself up.
All in all, I think this VCR is still a very good unit and well worth the money!
