Steer clear of this stinker
I purchased one of these on the 4th of July, and by the 10th, the data structure was corrupt and could not be reformatted. While the unit is included "free" in the EMusic starter kit, it is the primary draw of the kit.

Not the best, but OK for basic purposes
I got this mp3 player to record the sermons for my church. It works great for this purpose. We simply set it to record, put it on hold, and then place it on the lectern before the church service starts. The sound quality is good. It saves waves files nicely.
