Linksys (RT31P2) Router

I got this router from vonage. It seemed to run ok for the first 6 months although it has always been hot to the touch. A couple months ago we started having problems with our phone conversations that we could only correct by reseting the router. Now the router requires a reset almost daily for both internet usage and phone conversations. I have looked for driver updates or firmware upgrades on Linksys.com but none are available. I'm pretty sure that I'll need to buy another one soon, but at $80 - $100 I'm not too excited.
