My 7 year old RCA receiver is much better
This receiver has a design flaw. It runs very hot. Even after installing it on an open shelf to help provide enough airflow, it started causing problems after 4 months. Don't even bother
Directv offers good things, but in the end, they end up screwing you over. I don't recommend this product, especially if you don't have patience. My family had Tivo for a few years and loved it, but it was time to upgrade. So we got the Directv D10 DTV Receiver expecting it to be even better.. but... Read full review »
DirecTV? Good, but not great...
A recent move put our family in a position to change satellite service providers, and with the screaming introductory deal we received from DirecTV, and the so-so customer service we had with Dish Network (more on this in another article), we thought we'd give the new guys a try.
