Regent Medical Durabrand Boom Box With CD Player & Cassette Recorder, CD-2036 (Silver)Boombox

I've been using the CD player to play lullabies during the night in my baby's room. I had no problems for about 6 months to 1 year; however, this morning I realized the CD had stopped playing some time during the night. The CD player will spin for about 10 seconds, just as it normally does before displaying the number of tracks on the display window. When the spinning stops, "00" is displayed in the window, and the CD will not play AT ALL! I've tried turning it off and on, unplugging it, changing CDs ... nothing worked. After researching the brand online, I've come to realize that I am only one of many who has had issues with this line of products.
