I have owned this detector for approximately 2 months now. I do alot of highway driving. From what I have seen so far, I am very impressed. The technology, Smart Scan, definately works. Going through a city, approx.200,000 people, it beeped twice. No lie. I have met one cop so far, and he hit me with instant on, as soon as he did, I picked up the signal immediately. I haven't the luck of experiencing distance with it yet, but hopefully soon.
