The Bottom Line:  Go Get It
I just purchased this sub for $340(CDN) from A and B sound in Vancouver and am very happy with it. I have over 10 year old Energy 4.1e's for Main speakers and 2.1e's for rears with a HTS 1 center channel and have always been very happy with this set up. I did not think I needed a sub but recently thought I was missing alot of the Low Frequency effects in movies these days and wanted to make sure I was getting all out of my home theater I can. I had upgraded my reciever last year to a Yamaha RXV 540 and decided to add a sub. I have been very happy with the preformance with movies and it has added a lot to the movie watching experience by having a true 5.1 set up. What has suprised me is how much I am enjoying the extra bottom end with my music. I listen to mostly rock music not a lot of rap or R&B so I diod not feel I needed more bass then what my full size main speakers could produce but have found that this sub is producing a nice tight clean sounding additional bass. It is adding a very nice depth to the music with out making it sound sloppy and over powering.

The set up was easy with using the sub out RCA jack and turning off the subs crossover using the recievers bass control.

I would highly recommend this sub
