I had 5 of these receivers. Of the 5, 3 have had the ch3 RF output fail. The first failure was within the 1st month of ownership. Direct TV replaced it with a Samsung.....much better unit. The 3rd one has just failed.....same problem. I am unable to tape from the RF output. S video and direct audio/video jacks alway work fine. Unfortunately, this one is out of Warranty now
