Not a bad choice if all you need is an easy phone for talking.

Pros Cheap. Compact. Good reception. Speaker Phone.
Cons "Auto-keylock" function will block date/time display. Clock reset in case battery drained.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  If you do not need games, ringtone composing, graphical animation, intensive text message composing, PC connection, WAP; MC 920 will be a good choice at a reasonable price.
This is a simple, light weight & small handset with powerful reception (yet no idea how high the RF level could be ^_^ ). Regarding the outlook, silver-paint-coated cover looks more fashionable than the one featured here.

Sagem probably puts her French touch by emphasizing ease, free and relaxing.

Ease:
3 individual programed shortcut keys (not one touch though, but double touch instead... Make a first "press" to bring out the shortcut, then another "press" to confirm your command... funny design though!) allow you to switch quickly to i.e. silence mode, to bring out the phonebook by position, to dial voicemail centre or to read short messages etc.

Currency converter is really handy, when enabled, under standby mode, simply enter the amount then press cursor up/down, you'll get the result.

Name search is easy, simply enter the alphabet say "P" then press "send", you'll get all the phone numbers starting from "P", i.e. Pat, Peter, Philip and so on.

Relaxing:
"Auto Keylock" function relaxes you from hassles, you can simply put the handset back into your pocket after use without worries (however, when autokeylock being enabled, the date & time display in the lower line will be replaced with the reminder "PRESS * OK", so you won't see the time without pressing "*" & then "OK". That's probably the limitation of the 2-lines text display, but this is really silly I must say... a tiny keylock icon instead of the "PRESS * OK" reminder will do the job).

If you do enable the "power saving" mode, the screen LED will go off and the keypad will be locked except the "send" button. Either an incoming call or a press on the "send" button will wake the handset up. This is a very practical feature in case you don't talk too much in a day.

RF safe:
Speakerphone function & voice quality both are good (provided you do like to use such feature with a mobile phone), together with the reclining antenna design, all these make you feel better regarding RF hazard against your brain. However, also because of this reclining design, one may feel a bit "prickly" when carrying this handset in a pant pocket.
