SAMSUNG SGH- C417 C
Pros
Good excuse if you want to blame the phone for missing calls
Cons
Many calls went to VM,replaced SIM twice. Took forever for AT&T to replace phone
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Do not buy, both phones were unreliable, drops calls, and shuts off
I Purchased this on a plan with AT&T had two, both were terrible. It wasn't the cell tower strength or being in a roaming area, other phones on my plan worked fine. Phone would not ring and go into voice mail often. Sometimes it would just shut itself off. Would happen off and on so when you called AT&T their support center would find that the phone rang for them! Finally replaced the battery and the phone (twice) and billed me 115.00 for a 79.00 phone. They claim damage, it never worked right from the first day.If you have job or care about getting your calls I would not consider this phone. Friend had the same phone, same problem, early on he just dropped it off at their store and said I want another phone or no service. Wish I had done the same. I have an LG phone now and so far so good. Be careful when signing up for phone plans, I would never go more than a year again. You never know what kind of product or service you are going to be receiving. The customer services representative said the phone works at a slower speed and can't work with many SIM cards. AT&T had some type of notice they distributed to their local stores concerning the SIM card problem.
