The Bottom Line:
This is a good, inexpensive TV/VCR combo that will last a long while.
I purchased this set when I went away for my freshman year of college, in August of 2000. Since then it's survived a cross-country shipping journey, and many tape-watchings and rewindings. The image is still clear, the reception is good, and the VCR is still working as well as it was when I first purchased it.
The screen is only 13 inches. If you'll be using it in a small room where you'll be somewhat near to the set, this would be a good TV for you, but if you'll be far away from it the small screen size might be a problem. I think it is a good set for a cramped dorm room. The VCR built into the bottom saves space as well.
When I purchased the set the most appealing thing about it to me was the price, but I think I made a good decision, since it's lasted for two years and it's working as well as it was on the day I bought it. I would certainly recommend this TV/VCR combo.
