Samsung DVD-L100 10 in. Portable DVD Player

I chose this unit over Panasonic DVD-LA95 and Toshiba SD-P2000 after side by side comparisons in local store. Upon receiving the unit, I have not been disappointed. Sound is tinny, but as can be expected from a small form factor --- BUT hook the unit up to your car stereo via cassette adapter and the sound is superb. Headphones are good, but nothing beats a separate powered woofer. The screen was chosen not only because of size, (I was leaning toward the Toshiba) but because of excellent viewing angle, 160 degrees is quoted and I agree. The Toshiba started to get that funny LCD off angle look at what I would guess would be >110 degrees, enough that I didn't think it would be good for anyone but the person sitting in the center row of the SUV right behind the screen.
