It works

Pros Nice looking. Big, clear, bright screen. Thin and light.
Cons Expensive. Touchscreen inaccurate. Interface. No free software or games. No camera flash.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  It does the job and looks nice, but I wouldn't buy another one. It costs too much for what it offers and lacks.
As stated in a prior review, the touchscreen is highly inaccurate, which can be very frustrating. Calibration does not seem to help. I have not bothered with contacting Samsung about it, since it appears to be a universal issue.

Otherwise, the phone does the job and looks nice. It's relatively thin and light, without a slide-out keyboard. Some folks like actual keys, instead of haptics. Makes no real difference to me, but it does keep the phone thin. It's pricey for an Iphone wannabe, and the user interface is not terribly good, with limited functionality and options. AT&T logo will not go away. Nothing is free with AT&T. Expect to pay extra for almost any feature you want. Of course most cellular services are evil in many ways. I highly recommend insurance, even though it runs an extra six bucks a month.

Call quality is standard, which is a bit disappointing considering the price. I'd expected a bit better. Volume is acceptable, but barely. I keep it maxed out. Tilt screen likes to slide pictures around on you, even when you don't want it to. The lack of a camera flash is actually very irritating, and severely limits its functionality as a camera.

I can sum it up best with "Meh, it looks nice and it does the job."

I would not buy another one however. I'm probably going for an Android phone next. I would also probably not go with AT&T again, although as I said before, no cellular provider in my experience has really been good.

Pros: Nice looking. Big, clear, bright screen. Thin and light.

Cons: Spensive, for an Iphone wannabe. Touchscreen very inaccurate. User interface is crap. No free software or games. No flash on the camera. Not strong vibration. AT&T charges for EVERY feature you may want to use. Standard cellular service evils.

Neutral: No slide-out keyboard. Standard battery life. Slide out antenna for TV. No stylus. 3.0mp camera. Tilt screen functionality.
