Highly recommended for texters--not a big fan of talking on the phone. If you're having problems with this phone, make sure it's not an older version!
When I first got my cellphone, it worked ok. I had been on a 6 month hiatus so using a touch screen was something I had to get used to. After the first week, everything just went sour-it dialed numbers randomly, the screen froze and the lock didn't stay locked.
LOCK/UNLOCK
I can't tell you how many time I looked at my phone to see I had 3 missed calls from my mom or sister, frantically leaving me voicemails because they got calls from me that were all jumbled and fuzzy with voices in the background and thought I had been abducted or in trouble. Since all you had to do was push the lock on the screen it was so easy to unlock the phone. My butt could unlock the screen lock and dial numbers-once i pulled out my phone and I had unknowingly keyed in 911-luckily it hadn't been sent.
FROZEN SCREEN
Sometimes my screen would lock up completely, or every button I meant to push, would actually register 2 buttons above it. This was extrememly frustrating when I would be in a hurry trying to call someone. I would have to reset my phone completely and in the last few months in having this phone resetting wouldn't even help. It's not like you can just use the keybad either; the touch screen is essential to the tasks on the phone so it really does cripple you when it acts up.
UPDATED VERSION
After I honestly couldn't take it any longer, I took my phone in to be "fixed". Instead I was given an updated version of the phone and I couldn't be happier. It was like someone went through my list of problems and corrected every issue I had and then some. The interface is more user friendly and the lock/unlock can no longer be unlocked by my butt. Since I have had the new phone it has never frozen and the buttons on the touch screen "click" everytime. Apparently I was not the only one having these issues with the fun and I just missed the memo. If I had known, I would have gotten a updated version a lot sooner!
I'm pretty hard on my phones and drop them on my cement garage floor daily and this phone is a tank. The touch screen isn't even that hard to maintain either.
