Samsung Glyde- A Mind of Its Own!
When i bought the Samsung Glyde I was so excited to get a phone that instead of really comparing phones to see which was best I saw the Glyde a keyboard so i bought it. A verizon wireless worker even suggested I find a different phone but i didn't listen. That was... Read full review »
Close, but no prize...
I agree with some of the previous reviewers comments. The touch screen is fairly lame as far as sensitivity and accuracy are concerned. But I think it's more the fault of the software than the phone itself. If you turn on the haptic feedback, you can feel when a button is pressed, but the software... Read full review »
Nice Littlle Classy Phone
The Samsung Glyde was my first cell phone that I ever owned. And for having a first phone, I think it was great for me
Touch Screen
The Samsung Glyde is a touch screen. I found it very fun and entertaining at first. It makes things less complicated, cause you just touch it. There...

Verizon edition Samsung misses the mark.
After four weeks with my new Samsung Glyde, Ive got it up for sale on ebay.com here's why-
While being a slick phone (screen is drop dead gorgeous), with the promise of some great features, the touch response is very poor, even with the sensitivity turned all the way up, it locks itself...

LOCK/UNLOCK
I can't tell...

If it wasn't for the keyboard...
...I'd go back to my old phone! You can't activate buttons that are anywhere near the edge of the touch screen (so why do they put them there?!), and today I found out (from Samsung tech support) you can't listen to music using ordinary earphones; you have to purchase additional Bluetooth earphones... Phone is Okay but could use improvement!
I have had this Samsung Glyde phone for about three months now. I like it a lot and it turns a lot of heads when people see me using it. I have had a few issues, mostly with the touch screen. On occasion I have to touch the screen more than a few times to actually get it to register. I have... Read full review »
My Choice
The Samsung Glyde is my phone of choice. I love everything about it - it "glides" and it's touch screen and there's a full keyboard! It is very hip and trendy and you will feel so cool when you pull it out, glide the keyboard out, and start texting. The touch screen usually works for me, but... Read full review »
Nice try, but Samsung missed the mark!
I have worked for a corporate Verizon Wireless store for more then two years and in that time there have only been four phones that I have tried to talk every customer out of, and the Glyde happens to be one of them.
The Samsung SCH-U940, a.k.a The Glyde, is the first attempt by Samsung to...
